As much as I hate to say it, I think I’m really done with both Dark and DYL’s blogs. I don’t think there’s anything else I CAN do with them, even if I wanted. They’ve run their course.

Buuuut, I’m NOT completely done with Dark Link as a whole. Just these versions. Part of the fun of playing a character with no canon personality or information is that I can make plenty of different versions of him.

So if anyone’s still interested in my art and my Darks, you can follow this guy here. He’ll function on slightly different headcanon than these two, and hopefully the blog will be a little more…”lighthearted.” More open, at least.

Well, it’s more a matter of what he didn’t do.

To be perfectly honest, outside of that first day, I rarely saw Dark long at all.

He would either leave, or he was in the shadows when I was around. Farore… admittedly didn’t help much either. She purposely had be distracted on a few occasions to slip off and speak with him.

Despite what people seem to think, I do understand the concept of privacy but this was just….

Avoiding me. That’s what he was doing. For the duration of the month.

Despite what issues we have, the fact is, Farore is my sister. I worry about her. And that he’d avoid me as much as possible for the entire month..

I don’t know what I should think. Of him, or their relationship.

You’d think… if he really cares about her, that he’d want to be around her regardless of my presence.

(to Din) Now that Farore is safe, for now at least, has your trust in Dark improved at all?

Trust is not the word I would use for it.

I… promised him that I wouldn’t question his intentions. I’ll abide by my promise.

But I can’t say I feel any better about the arrangement. If nothing else, the month with them… I am rather… more concerned than I was before.

“Termina, huh?” Din looked over the dry landscape for a moment. This was where Dark and Farore lived? Unlike other deserts that the Oracle of Seasons had visited, Ikana was more dead than alive.

Her scarlet gaze flitted over the canyons once more before she turned back to the Music Box House. That was the place. She’d heard enough about it to recognize it on sight.

The dancer placed a few solid knocks on the door before taking a step back to wait.

“I must be imagining things.” Farore looked up from the meal she was reheating. She would swear she sensed Din, but that was ridiculous. Wasn’t it? Oracles couldn’t freely travel to Termina. She’d know, she hadn’t been able to visit while she had her power—

Three solid knocks on the door. Farore dropped the pot in surprise, hissing between her teeth as lukewarm stew splashed over her legs. Silently grateful it hadn’t warmed too much before her surprise. I’ve been so jumpy since that fog spell.

It’s… strange. As I wasn’t born for this purpose solely, things don’t come to me as easily as they did Farore. I do not, for instance, know everything at a whim. Rather, I have a strong… intuition, you might say.

Generally my gut reaction about things is correct. More so than a normal Hylian’s.

I suppose it is interesting, in its own right. But it’s been time consuming.

I’ve not had an opportunity to spend much time with Tanken as of late either.

Din and Nayru are nice enough. Nayru’s actually more welcoming than Din is. Din seems…. conflicted by my presence at times.

“And this is what you want?” Din rounded on her sister. “You want all the pain you’ve been through to be turned back on him?” She threw her hands up. “Are you insane? Have you finally lost it?”

“I didn’t come here for your approval.” The green haired woman stood up. The ice in her eyes didn’t settle well with either of her sisters. She adjusted the strap of her quiver. “I will do it regardless. Even if I have to seek out a different path to get what I need.”

“I will help you.” Nayru’s eyes were on the floor as she spoke; Din looked at the harpist in disgust. “I trust your judgment, Farore. If you deem it fitting to move against him, well, I would not question your judgement.” The harpist looked up. “You know better than either of us the contents of one’s character.”

The former knight nodded once. “Thank you.”

“I suppose… I’ll give you what you need as well.” Din ran her hands through her hair. Pain was clear on her face. “Just… know that if you mess this up, Far, there will be no going back.”

Farore smiled bitterly. “There was never a hope of going back to begin with.”

I knew that well before anyone else. Before he knew. But we were at war.

I started my training in an effort to help protect him. Someone had to. He wasn’t ready to fight yet.

But… to do that properly, I also had to hide from him. He would never have let me go through that training for his sake if he’d known.

Those years were not…. pleasant.

They were born to bridge the gaps between parts of the world. Between all life in the line, throughout history, and even to the dead. If those areas were understood, balance could be maintained.

Now, they also ended up picking up duties along the way. Consultants for sages, nobility, peasants, etc. Healers and teachers. These were never things they had to do.

I’d have answered this in character but it wouldn’t have been a very neat response without specifying which one you were speaking to.

Truth be told, most of my childhood was spent chasing after him. I wanted to play games with him. I wanted his attention.

I was constantly tripping over my own feet. Falling over things in our little village, but he would always be there to pick me back up again.

He…. Despite all of his antics, and how much he’ll insist otherwise, when he wants to be…. he really is quite a sweetheart.

Hey guys! As those of you who are close to me may know, I’m kind of between a rock and a hard place. I’ve recently lost my job and have no way to pay my bills - not only that, but my family was relying in part on my paycheques so that we would be able to pay our main bills, and I covered a good portion of the food bill for us as well.

Due to my getting illegally fired, I’ve been backed in to the corner of opening up commissions; here’s the fun part for you!

I am literally so desperate that I will do pretty much anything you want me to draw that I am able to do for 5$.
A few people have offered me more than that, and if you’re willing to spare that, feel free - it’s really appreciated. But 5$ is my flat rate.

I’ll do sketches

I’ll do character designs, provided you give me enough info of what you’d like (and the universe if I’m not familiar with it)

I’ll ink your lineart if you want (you’d be surprised how often I’m asked to do this)

I’ll even do a nice picture.

And for those of you who really want that, I’ll do any NSFW that I’m comfortable drawing.
